Colel Chabad — Tzedakah Central® since 1788

Colel Chabad provides life preserving assistance to the neediest people in Israel regardless of gender, age, marital status, ethnicity or religious observance.

We combat hunger daily in partnership with the Israeli Government. We also offer a comprehensive range of material and social services for widowed and indigent families, Holocaust survivors, immigrants, and the chronically ill. This has been our mission since 1788.

A musical revolution...
...and revelation

Did you know?

Colel Chabad is one of the most efficient charities in the world. The percentage of every dollar donated that actually goes to help the poor and sick is very high. Why? Because we keep administrative costs to a minimum, avoid high rents, and have an army of volunteers helping us.

232 Years ago The Alter Rebbe founded
Colel Chabad.

24 years later he passed away on 24 Teves.
(January 21th this year)

Giving tzedakah on the yahrzeit of a tzaddik is the source of much blessing.  How much more so when the tzedakah is Colel Chabad, and the yahrzeit is that of a true giant, the founder of Chabad-Lubavitch and the founder of Colel Chabad itself.

Indeed, nowhere is the Alter Rebbe’s practical impact more manifest than among Israel’s neediest – widows, orphans, the indigent elderly – who rely on his personal charity, Colel Chabad, for their daily bread and so much more.

Every day is a good day to give tzedakah. Every day is right for supporting Colel Chabad.  Yet, it is through the intercession of a true tzaddik on his yahrzeit that we all pray for life, health and success.

Your donation of $232 would be especially meaningful.  However every gift, large or small, means miracles for the poor and forgotten.

Be part of a tradition – one that spans well over two centuries.
