Ron Herscho:

Colel Chabad thrives in large part because of good friends like Ron Hershco.

Israeli-born entrepreneur Ron Hershco is a dedicated real estate entrepreneur and philanthropist. He founded his own real estate agency and with projects like The Meridian, a luxury Long Beach-based development overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, he is a renowned industry figure recognized for building homes within developing areas in New York.

As a generous contributor who is passionate about giving back to the community, he supports many activities within Chabad of Oceanside and recently donated $2.5 Million to Russell Simmons’ Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation.

His donation will go towards building a vibrant community arts center in Brooklyn, New York located at 2590 Atlantic Avenue. The project will promote the arts for underprivileged urban youth, with the intentions of providing an active and lively hub for neighborhood families.

Ron was also instrumental in building a new annex for a school in Far Rockaway Queens that now houses over 200 students.

Ron Hershco is a close friend of Colel Chabad.
