Dental Clinics

In Israel, there are areas of medical care that are not covered, or inadequately covered by health insurance.

Chief among these is dentistry. Historically, impoverished children received no preventive or remedial dental care of any kind. This situation was even further exacerbated in areas that were difficult or dangerous to reach, and which have no resident dental clinics of any kind.

Colel Chabad’s dental clinics provide highly subsidized dental care for children who would otherwise never see a dentist.

Colel Chabad maintains two stationary dental clinics, The Konogsberg Dental Clinic in Jerusalem and the Grabski Dental Clinic in Safed and two Mobile Dental Clinics, all of which provide the highest quality of preventive and corrective dental care - including surgery and implants - primarily for children. The rates charged reflect a 50% subsidy by Colel Chabad.

Children in border communities and other vulnerable settlements have no access to dental care. If they cannot get to a dentist, Colel Chabad sees to it that the dentist gets to them.

The Colel Chabad Armored Mobile Dental Clinic is intrepid, as it plies its route in some of the most difficult areas of Israel. It delivers high quality, subsidized pediatric and adult dental care for frontier communities that would otherwise have no access to proper oral care.

A second, non-armored mobile clinic visits remote villages that have no local dental clinic of their own.
